Diamond Valley Railway

The Diamond Valley Railway (DVR) is a ride in miniature railway located in Eltham Lower Park which is considered the gateway to the Diamond Valley and onward into the Yarra Valley. 

Located in the township of Eltham the Railway has been operating since 1961, passengers can enjoy a 12-15 minute ride around the 2 kilometre line that passes over numerous bridges and through tunnels. 

Trains are hauled by Steam, Petrol, Diesel or Electric powered Locomotives and the railway is run entirely by volunteers with DVR being a not-for-profit organisation.
