Giant Steps is a privately owned, estate based, Yarra Valley grower and winemaker.
Giant Steps has forged a reputation for delivering some of the Australia’s most consistent, over-performing, varietal wines.
The Yarra Valley range is made from hand-picked fruit from the estate vineyards. The wines are produced using indigenous yeasts, gravity-flow winemaking, and minimal fining and filtration. This approach produces highly expressive wines, true to the climate, soil and topography of the Yarra Valley.
The Giant Steps Single Vineyard range is produced from the most site-expressive fruit off the best vineyards in great years. Production of these wines is very limited with some vineyards producing as little as 200 cases. Each single-vineyard wine, tells a story about the vineyard, vintage and variety.
Giant Steps Yarra Valley Range wines are available for tasting free of charge and the Single Vineyards for $15.00 per person, refundable upon any take home purchase of Giant Steps at the cellar door.
Our philosophy in the restaurant is the same as in our winery - showcase the best quality produce available. Our menu, created by Head Chef Jarrod Hudson and his team, is made to order and pays tribute to some of the finest produce available both locally and abroad. Simple things done beautifully.
