Hurstbridge

Hurstbridge Village is in the heart of rural Nillumbik, and services the communities of Arthurs Creek, Cottles Bridge, Doreen, Kangaroo Ground, Nutfield, Panton Hill, St Andrews, Smiths Gully, Strathewen, Wattle Glen and Yarrambat.

The Hurstbridge train line winds through a canopy of native trees before terminating at this rural village renowned for antiques and collectibles, health products, organic produce and alternative fashions. Grab your grub at the Hurstbridge Farmers Market (first Sunday of each month, except January) or a mouthwatering cake from a quaint local cafes. You can work it off with strolls at Fergusons Paddock and the bewitching Heritage Trail, or simply watch the gum-trees sway while enjoying another slice. Hurstbridge was the first town in Melbourne to go plastic carry bag free, so bring your own re-usable shopping bags. Hurstbridge is a little bush gem!
