Tim works with reclaimed steel and derives inspiration from nature, spirituality, and the materials he finds.
“A big part for me is connecting with stuff in a different way...turning something with an end date into something completely different. Not allowing it’s previous life to determine it’s value in the future.”
Visitors are able to discover his artwork out on the sculpture trail in the natural bush setting on the banks of the Yarra river, as well as wandering through his studio, gallery and the ‘boneyard’ of collected steel material.
Tread Sculptures is officially open to the public on the first weekend of every month, Saturday and Sunday 10am to 4pm. Or during the week by appointment.
Tread Sculptures is 15min from the beautiful township of Warrandyte, 20min from Eltham, and 20min from Diamond Creek.
