Badger's Brook Estate

Established in 1993 by the current owners, Badger’s Brook Wines are located on the Maroondah Hwy in the heart of the Yarra Valley.  This family owned vineyard specialises in Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Shiraz.  Michael and Mary Warren, the owners of the Badger’s Brook Vineyard, have been involved in the Australian Wine Industry for over thirty years.  The soils in this section of the Yarra Valley are pretty lean, and require grape growers to crop low and seek maximum flavours from low yielding vines.  The initial plantings at Badger’s Brook took place in 1989.

In 1994-95, the owners took a serious interest in some more alternate varieties, which can only be purchased at the cellar door, these include Roussanne, Marsanne, Viognier and Tempranillo.
