There’s no need to spend winter plodding between work and the lounge. Recharge with some fresh Yarra Valley air, country views, local wine and delicious food. Winter is a breathtaking time to visit the Yarra Valley for the day or the weekend. Moody lush green hills await you as well as more than 80 cellar doors each with a different story and different wines
Every day in July the Yarra Valley warms up its Cellar Doors and reminds wine lovers and their friends to visit us for Gumboot Season
If you love wine, pull on your gumboots and head to the Yarra Valley this month for Yarra Valley Gumboot Season. Breathe in the fresh air, taste some delicious wines, indulge in some heartwarming food, take in the stunning views and warm yourself by the open fires.
Yarra Valley Gumboot Season 2016 is better than ever, follow us and we’ll keep you informed about special events and dining experiences that are being hosted at all of our favorite vineyards.
Don’t forget to wear your gumboots for special cellar door discounts of 15% or more on all wine purchases. Some Cellar Doors are hosting games such as toss the gumboot in to the barrel, or guess how many corks in the gumboot while others are hosting wine barrel tastings, lunches and dinners all with additional prizes and offers for people wearing gumboots.
There are even Instagram and Facebook #GumbootSeason16 competitions!
