One of the coolest places for food and wine lovers at the Gateway of the Yarra Valley. Trending cafe Round Bird Can't Fly has another great opportuntity not to be missed for wine lovers with its 'Pop Up Cellar Door'. Lock in this date -- Sunday, June the 26th – from 10am to 3pm

Join the Round Bird team as they partner with Rob Hall for a warm winter wine tasting.

For those of you not up to speed Rob Hall has been working in the Yarra Valley wine industry since 1991.

Most notably, Rob was the winemaker at the revered Mount Mary Vineyard from 2002 – 2011. After 10 vintages at Mount Mary, Rob went on to do 3 vintages at Kellybrook winery, and in
2014 he made the big step into selfemployment, beginning his own eponymously (that's just a facy way of saying 'self titled') labelled wines.

Rob Hall offers small production, brilliant wines, from the Upper Upper Yarra where some of the best small plot grapers are grown in this cooler sub region of the Yarra Valley.

One day only tasting – don’t miss out!

And of course you will also be able to eat some of the great seasonal and regional produce from the team at Round Bird, or pick up something special from their provedore.

Round Bird is located right in the heart of Lilydale next to the Olinda Creek, where many keen cyclists like to start their jouney on the famous Lilydale to Warburton Rail Trail. Best of all it is just a three minute walk from the Lilydale Train station.

Wine on taste will include:

  • 2015 Rob Hall Chardonnay
  • 2015 Harriet’s Vineyard Chardonnay
  • 2015 Rob Hall Pinot Noir
  • 2015 Harriet’s Vineyard Pinot Noir
  • 2015 Rob Hall Petit Verdot
  • 2015 Rob Hall New Cabernets
  • 2015 Rob Hall Cabernets
