Finally - an opportunity to indulge in a chocolate feast - without the guilt.
In fact - you'll feel better for it - Truth!
Banquete de Chocolate

Imagine a dinner event in a beautiful mountain guesthouse based entirely on ancient cultural traditions, unique flavours, artisan methods and…chocolate!

This remarkable dining experience will take your breath away as you are introduced to Fernando Ramirez's Tonantzin Chocolate through both the six-course meal and the extraordinary stories of his colourful Aztec ancestry. Every dish on this special night will be accompanied by stories of grandmothers, lost recipes, ghosts, and ancient traditions passed down and followed to this day. You'll leave wishing there was a book to go with the man - or maybe you were just a part of creating the movie?

Journey with him through savoury and sweet examples of hand ground, organic cacao utilised to tell a delicious story, that for one night, we can all be a part of. Mardi Edwards, of the Yarra Valley's Strathvea Guesthouse, has sat with Fernando and designed a meal to show how diverse cacao, superfood of the Aztec's, really is.

Carrying the lineage of the Aztec Dance, Fernando Ramirez brings the 3000 year old tradition of honouring the spirit of cacao into the contemporary chocolate world. When he's not hosting dinners such as these he's producing small batch, handmade raw chocolates at Tonantzin Chocolate.
