High Tea has been a delicious and decadent traditional in our region for decades. Enjoy it in a room full of history and stories as you nibble and sip or choose a modern room that sees the afternoon tea remain a standard in our current dining offerings.

High Tea at Marybrooke - Sherbrooke

Marybrooke Manor offers a traditional High Tea within the Manor every Sunday afternoon from 1pm to 4pm.  The cost is $40 per person.  Bookings are essential – so please call (03) 9755 2755 or email enq@marybrooke.com.au to reserve your place.

High Tea at Chateau Yering, Historic House Hotel - Yering

Traditional High Tea every Saturday at 1:00pm & Sunday from 1:30pm - 3:30pm or 2:00pm - 4:00pm. 

Includes a selection of house-made sandwiches, savoury items, scones served with jam and cream, miniature cakes, a glass of sparkling wine and unlimited herbal teas & barista coffee.

High Tea at Coombe - The Melba Estate, Coldstream

High Tea decadence can be enjoyed from 2pm every Wednesdays and Sundays. For just $55 per person. You can enjoy a glass of Blanc de Blanc and a selection of hot and cold savouries and sweets.

Afternoon Tea at the Cuckoo Restaurant

Our delightful Afternoon Tea at the Cuckoo Restaurant includes a selection of hot savoury finger foods, hot puddings, scones with jam and cream, potato pancakes, open and closed sandwiches plus the full dessert buffet including fresh fruit platters, continental cakes and pastries, custard and jellies, cheese platters and our fresh pancakes made to order. Bottomless pots of tea & coffee included.
Afternoon tea stats at 3.30 pm and ends at 5.00pm on Sundays.

The High Tea Mistress – mobile high teas

Available 7 days a week at your accommodation venue or in one of the many stunning parks or gardens throughout the Yarra Valley or Dandenong Ranges.  (we are also happy to make recommendations).  We offer High Tea or Picnic High Tea Packages and create a tailored package to suit you.  With a choice of menu selections we can also cater for dietary requirements.

Yarra Valley Lodge

When you think high tea, you probably don’t think of curry puffs (using a 100-year-old recipe, no less), but that’s what you get at Yarra Valley Lodge’s local take on the classic spread. Take time out of your Sunday afternoon, 2pm-4pm, for high tea including a tiered stand of curry puffs, pork belly croquettes and gluten-free scones plus condiments. 

There’s also a buffet of house-made patisserie sweets that showcase fresh, seasonal and local ingredients, and served with beverages from the Yarra Valley Tea Co and Yarra Coffee. Yarra Valley Chocolaterie

The Yarra Valley Chocolaterie is home to thousands of premium chocolates and free tastings, and now the popular tourist attraction is cooking up high tea (check webite for session times). Enjoy a refreshing drink on arrival, plus petite sweets, scones, pastries, ribbon sandwiches and bottomless organic local tea, barista-made coffee and real hot chocolate.
