The Kalatha Giant has survived several major fires in its lifetime, as well as escaping the logging that took many of the trees surrounding it. The immediate area is now protected and is a popular tourist attraction. Take an easy stroll along the boardwalk to learn more about the forest ecosystem and the giants within. The Kalatha Giant is located at Kalatha Creek in the Toolangi State Forest and is approximately 65 metres tall.
