Ever wonder what it would be like to live in the 1880s? Our tour highlights the comparisons between a modern home and the pioneer Homestead. See if you can guess what rooms are missing. How would you manage without mains water, hot water, electricity, phone, car and many other conveniences we take for granted. As the Tour progresses around the property you will walk through the beautiful gardens set in lawns with stunning trees including a magnificent 100 year old oak. The Tour also includes the 1920s St Marys Chapel, Historic Kitchen, Blacksmiths and Vintage Machinery shed.

Monty’s Tea-rooms

Offers great tea and coffee with traditional fare in a warm and stylish Art Deco atmosphere.

The Pioneer Homestead
The 1860s homestead is furnished with items from the homes of descendants of the pioneer Families. The slab hut kitchen contains many household items of the era, plus we have our blacksmiths, woodturning and vintage machinery displays.

Our Beautiful Gardens
The Mont De Lancey homestead is set in lawns graced by beautiful trees including a magnificent spreading oak. Whether it be the rich rustic colours of autumn or come spring it's blossom time, the white and pink of the flowering cherries and the purple of the lilacs make a stunning setting.
