Panton Hill Vineyard and Winery

At Panton Hill Winery you'll discover magnificent stone buildings reminiscent of Southern Europe, but in a bush setting, just 45 minutes from central Melbourne and 35 minutes from Melbourne Airport. Enjoy the warm welcome you'll receive in this family founded and run boutique winery where wine is grown and vintaged on site, using Biological techniques.

Wine quality is high and the range wide. You'll have the opportunity to sample dry, sweet, sparkling and fortified varieties and also learn as much or as little as you'd like, about tasting and enjoying wine. There is something to suit almost all palates, and most people leave with a greater appreciation and enjoyment of wine than they had previously.

To enhance the wine experience, we offer light, rustic, Italian style food which can vary with the seasons and includes as much of our own produce as possible. There are plenty of places to sit back, relax , chat and enjoy a glass of wine with some of our delicious home cooked food. Maybe it will be near the huge open fire inside in winter or outside in the lovely courtyard area overlooking bush, vineyard, gardens and stone buildings in finer weather. Whatever the choice, you won't want to leave.

We can accommodate special dietary needs of all kinds, are wheel chair friendly, allow pets providing they leave no messages. Well behaved kids are welcome but we prefer they don't pick the flowers or drop things in the fish ponds and fountain. Kids usually enjoy our gentle dog, Josie, and she enjoys them. Please don't be tempted to feed her no matter how persuasive she might be, or she'll turn into a barrel.

Groups are welcome by arrangement. Panton Hill Winery is a great place for smaller family celebrations. It is a photographers' paradise and we regularly have wedding photography, short films, video clips and advertising photo shoots here. Hope to see you soon.

Open 11am-5pm Weekends and Public Holidays.

At other times it's best to ring to arrange a time to visit.
