Round Bird Can't Fly was born out of long nurtured dreamings and an irresistible desire to fly solo.

Many late nights, tattered recipe pages, and strong coffees later, Round Bird Can't Fly hopped out of dreams and into reality.

Round Bird is all at once an eatery, a food store, art gallery, and repository of local Yarra wines. The philosophy is to cook and serve our customers like we would for house guests; wholesome comfort food prepared with love to be enjoyed among friends and family.  We aim for refined yet simple dishes with pure, bold flavours showcasing seasonal produce at its finest.  We source our products from local suppliers, to reduce food miles from the farm to your plate.

Located only a 40 minute drive from Melbourne, at the gateway to the renowned Yarra Valley, we are open 7 days a week, rain, hail or shine. Please feel free to call for bookings or general enquiries.

Opening Hours:

Monday-Wednesday: 7am - 4pm- Thursday & Friday: 7am-10pm- Saturday: 8am-10pm- Sunday: 8am-4pm
