Soumah of Yarra Valley's cellar door and restaurant is now open 7 days. A la carte lunch is served from 11:30 to 3pm (4pm weekends), with $30 min. per person. Cellar door open for tastings every day from 10am to 5pm (6pm weekends). Lunch 11:30am to 3pm (4pm weekends).
Also now serving 'Merenda at Soumah' on Saturdays and Sundays, 3:30pm to 5:30pm. Merenda is Italian for snack! After a long day of winery hopping in the Yarra Valley, these bites of sweet and savoury will tie you over. Of course, there is wine involved too! For more information, click here.
Soumah of Yarra Valley is a 'hidden gem,' located down a country lane, in the dress circle of the Warramate foothills of Gruyere, near Healesville.
The Yarra Valley cool climate focus allows Soumah to specialise in wine styles and varieties typical to Northern Italy as well as South Eastern France. Our Hexham vineyard on the Warramate Foothills is the main stay of production although we do look for small parcels of premium fruit from other vineyards to bring additional Single Vineyard wines to the market. Our most awarded wines are Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, although we have gained recognition for Viognier and Syrah. We also have a passion for Northern Italian varieties with our Nebbiolo, Brachetto, Pinot Grigio and Savarro (Savagnin).

Trattoria d'Soumah, our northern-Italian style restaurant, offers fresh food, comfort and relaxation withpicturesque views of our vineyard. We are open for lunch 7 days a week. Closed only on Christmas Day & Boxing Day.

Soumah Wines will be offering the chance to taste interesting and rare Italian varieties through the festival perfectly matched to our Italian inspired specials from our Trattoria.
Each weekend throughout the festival we will feature a different region or variety from Northern Italy, along with our own Soumah wines and a selection of special dishes created by our Chef. If you have ever wanted to taste a Nascetta or Corvina Veronese this will be your chance!
Imagine relaxing on our deck sipping on a sparkling Prosecco direct from Veneto whilst grazing your way through an antipasti board or savouring the silky tannins of a Nebbiolo while overlooking the very vineyard from where it was grown!
