As Victoria's oldest winegrowing region, the Yarra Valley has a long history of winemaking and is particularly known for Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, alongside sparkling wine, Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz and an evolving collection of varieties and styles.
From established estates and winery restaurants to intimate cellar doors and small producers, there's no single way to experience Yarra Valley wine. Take your time, find the places that appeal to you and leave some room in the day to linger.
